CEAN 1.3 is online
The Comprehensive Erlang Archive Network is now in version 1.3.
CEAN aims to be a central place to find Erlang code. It also allows to quickly install Erlang without any need of compilation time (archives available for up to 18 platforms).
It includes a package search engine and performs package dependency checking.
The Comprehensive Erlang Archive Network is now available in stable version. CEAN aims to be a central place to find erlang packaged code. It also allows to install a working Erlang minimal system in few seconds, for up to 17 platforms.
After a while we found out that ejabberd looked like the right choice for us. [...] We did some load testing, found out that one old testserver could easily handle 20000 concurrent users. In one test scenario, the test tool crashed before the server reached the limit.
