The upcoming ejabberd version will however also feature many welcome functional improvements as well as new innovative additions. The new roadmap give an insight on the current process leading toward ejabberd Next Generation (Angie).
Campagne présidentielle, Rue89 et nouvelle interface de chat
A l'occasion du second tour de l'élection présidentielle, Process-one annonce sa nouvelle interface de discussion de groupe pour le web. Cette interface est déployée sur Le Chat Citoyen et sera utilisé par Rue89, nouveau quotidien en ligne.
After a while we found out that ejabberd looked like the right choice for us. [...] We did some load testing, found out that one old testserver could easily handle 20000 concurrent users. In one test scenario, the test tool crashed before the server reached the limit.
