Hi folks,
I see that Tsung 1.4.1 does not have support for testing XMPP servers that require TLS. Is there any work in progress to add this support? I’d be glad to test out any experimental code.
If not, what would be the way to implement it? I tried adding ‘bidi=“true”’ for the session and looking for <starttls…> in parse_bidi, but that method doesn’t get reliably called for the stream features. It sometimes gets called only for <bind> and sometimes not even for that, but only for and <message> stanzas. Do I need to hook into it somewhere else?

Thanks

Hello,

My domain is mmoya.org. Since about two weeks ago a began to get remote-server-not-found for all my @gmail.com contacts. I did think it was a general gmail.com federation issue.

Today I’ve registered an user with jabber.org and I have added to the roster my hosted.im’s contact as well as my @gmail.com contact. From jabber.org I’ve both presence and messaging with both accounts (the @mmoya.org’s one and the @gmail.com’s one), so it seems a problem between hosted.im and gmail.com.

Could you please take a look…

Hi,

I need to setup an ejabberd server with the following 2 custom options. Please point me to how these can be accomplished with ejabberd. Your help with this is deeply appreciated.

1. Each connecting new user/jid should be allowed access. The connect request should include a special auth key (in band) that tells the ejabberd server to allow this new user (this prevents spam).

2. Each connecting user/jid supplies their list of contacts at connect time (which is obtained from elsewhere). It doesn’t matter whether this contact list/roster is stored in DB by the server or just kept in memory for this session - whatever is easier to configure and saves memory usage.

Thanks!
