Invite Attack on Jabber ID

Hi, i have a jabber ID here on Hosted.IM (mortisdragon.tk JID attacked i at mortisdragon dot tk), but recently it was attacked by a huge amount of invite spam from random JID’s (the only way i could delete the invites is adding the account in psi+ portable since that didnt crash when i added my Jabber ID’s that were attacked)

is there any way of blocking such attack? I also got the attack on my other talkr.im account (mortisdragon at talkr dot im): http://i.imgur.com/DKUfj.jpg and it took about 10+miniutes deleting the invites.

can anyone advise me of any way to stop this…? thanks.

gmail.com s2s broken (again)

Hello,

My domain is mmoya.org. Since about two weeks ago a began to get remote-server-not-found for all my @gmail.com contacts. I did think it was a general gmail.com federation issue.

Today I’ve registered an user with jabber.org and I have added to the roster my hosted.im’s contact as well as my @gmail.com contact. From jabber.org I’ve both presence and messaging with both accounts (the @mmoya.org’s one and the @gmail.com’s one), so it seems a problem between hosted.im and gmail.com.

Could you please take a look…

Increased latency to jabber.ccc.de

Hi,

I experience a delay of several seconds when receiving presence stanzas from jabber.ccc.de after going online, the same with message receipts, pings etc. after not communicating for some time. I’ve never experienced this “problem” when connecting from other servers to jabber.ccc.de.

While it’s not disastrous, I still find it somehow irritating.

Certificates from CAcert and StartSSL are rejected

Hello,

i want to add a certificate signed by CAcert to my Domain. I tried both, class1 and class3 signed certificates. I tried the class3 certificate with and without intermediate CA included. Both were rejected because of an untrusted CA.

I also tried a free class1 XMPP certificate from StartSSL, that one was also rejected. I tried this also with and without intermediate CA included.

The exact error message was each time: “The certificate is not signed by a trusted authority. It is a self-signed certificate?”

So my question is, what kind of certificates can i use, or what could i have done wrong?

Hello,

Could you give more details on plans limits?

Free registration allows one free domain to be added. How many additional - ‘free’ - domains can be added if I have paid plans for some of the domains?

(the same question for the situation when I have several domains using different paid plans, if that’s possible at all)

YM Transport Not Detecting Subscription Status

Hi,

I was thinking it was just on my end so I did different methods like re-adding the transport via Psi+, then Pidgin, and logging to YM using the YM client. But for some reason, the subscription status is not being detected when my YM contacts are offline. It works fine though when they go online.

If I login via my old talkr.im account, the subscription status are detected just fine when the YM contacts are offline. It’s just with hosted.im YM transport that they appear as “Not Authorized” if they are offline. (Logging directly to YM using the YM client, they’re authorized fine too.)

Don’t know what else to do. ^_^

I’ve just migrated by XMPP server from my home server to hosted.im.

My question is do I have to re-add all my contacts once I login to the hosted.im service?
