One large one for me is that I cannot edit any of the information when trying to “Edit Profiles..”. It opens up to the window, however I can not change anything in there, I can’t even get the insertion point into any box there.

Also, only when I open it in a new window, the menubar at the top acts a little funny. If I first go to ‘OneTeam” then mouseover Config and go down that menu, the OneTeam one pops up again.

Hello and thank you to have taken the time to give your feedback.

We have not seen the problem you described during our test. The fact that the system behave strangely might have something to do with the version of Firefox you are using.

Could you please tell us, which version of Firefox you are using and what is your operating system ?

Thank you !

Hello,

That’s strange. I have the same OS and Firefox 2.0.0.1 and do not have focus problem.
I will ask a coworker who works on PPC (I am on Intel) to check.

Thank you.

Please, also note that there is some bugs that are due to Firefox on MacOSX.
The title of dialog windows is not shown on MacOSX, but the code is correct on Linux and Windows.
There small other little glitch on MacOSX (the size of windows is a bit different, etc.
We hope that some of them will be fixed in the next maintenance release of Firefox.

I’ll add another bug report here instead of opening a new thread: when I’m typing a message, the textbox(where I’m typing in) gets bigger and bigger (occurs since the latest build (r451)).

I’m using mac os 10.4.8 on Intel & ppc and firefox 2.0.0.1

I’m just reporting this because the code could possibly be reverted until it works on mac os (if it is a mac bug). Would be good though to have oneteam work with current firefox 3 nightlies.

Hello Michael,

Yes, it is a side effect of a fix. We wanted to allow large copy pasting of text, but now it has introduced an annoying behaviour.
We will fix that soon, probably tommorrow.

Sorry about that.

np, I just downloaded the latest firefox 3 nightly and either you fixed the bug that didn’t let me log in or the firefox team fixed it (don’t know which fault is was). I can log in now and the textbox thing works properly. It doesn’t get bigger when I’m typing.

Interesting Michael.

I am downloading Firefox 3 to compare the behaviour.

Michael,

The annoying behaviour on Firefox 2 when the typing area resize stangely should be fixed now.
Please let us know if it is ok for you.

Cheers,

when a message contains text(without spaces) or an URL that is wider than the message “box” itself I get a vertical scrollbar and the text goes outside the message box. It’s rather a cosmetic-bug.

Sorry, I can’t explain it very well, but I hope you get what I mean.

I clearly see what you mean.
Until now I thought it was the correct behaviour: It is the way a webpage is rendered.

We could think about an algorigthm to wrap pages, but I am not sure it will be really better.
What do you think ?

Yeah, I was thinking of that as well. Let’s say: don’t change anything right now and just leave it like that. If it turns out that most of the users don’t like it this way there’s still the possibility to write a wrapper or something like that. And you’re right about the rendering. So just leave it the way it is.

Hi,

Several windows seem to have absolute size (add/remove contact windows).
This has for direct effect I can’t see all parts of the windows, and some buttons are hidden.

[Running on Firefox 2.0.0.3/ Ubuntu Edgy.]
