switching off avatars

Wouldn’t it be possible to switch of the avatars in the messages? I have to have xmhtml-im on (because of clickability of links), but it looks so ugly with them (see attachmnet):

to add one more issue—when we have xhtml-im, wouldn’t it be lovely if we had URLs in the tweet translated into HTML as well. Consider the attached screenshot where tinyURL was not translated into <a> element.

Yes, absolutely. That’s on our TODO list. Most clients disable link rendering in their engine when using XHTML.

Call me retarted bastard, but I am one of those who are using IRC most of the time ;-) And I suspect, that among users of your service (wonderfull! Thanks!) I am by far not the only one.

Yes, absolutely. That’s on our TODO list. Most clients disable link rendering in their engine when using XHTML.

Adium, for example, converts these links to a hrefs by default.

I like having that image :)

Especially considering scaling of images has not been fixed yet. Robin writes really interesting stuff, but this is really ugly.
