This started a day or two ago. The transport constantly shows as ‘offline’ and does not respond to anything. Tried re-registering to no avail. This is from my ejabberd log:

I(<0.449.0>:ejabberd_s2s_out:984) : Trying to open s2s connectionmyserver.tld -> jabbim.cz
I
(<0.446.0>:ejabberd_s2s_out:313) : Connection establishedmyserver.tld -> twitter.tweet.im
I
(<0.456.0>:ejabberd_s2s_out:370) : wait_for_validationmyserver.tld -> twitter.tweet.im (connect timeout

Which doesn’t seem as a problem.

Yes, it is a problem. It seems you cannot get in touch with the server Tweet.im through s2s.

It seems you are using ejabberd 2.0.0. Upgrade to ejabberd 2.0.2 might solve your s2s problem that can happen sometimes.

Thanks, will try upgrading, I actually forgot I’m still on 2.0.0.

However, I have not changed anything on the server in weeks, and actually am getting standard s2s functionality with Gtalk and at least one standard XMPP server, it’s just tweet.im that stopped working suddenly. I wouldn’t post here otherwise.

Updating to 2.0.2 didn’t help in any way. Still getting regular traffic with other servers and my own transports. But if you’re saying that everybody else is happy, then I must really attribute it to the weird ways of the internets, and just give up on tweet.im.

I just checked and we are connected in S2S to you from tweet.IM.
We will put some trace in the code to see if we receive your connection request.

And dang, the transport just went live (2 minutes ago) and I received the last 20 messages (first activity since Sunday). Now tell me you unclogged this on your end… :)
