[Twitter Error] Cannot retrieve messages: Twitter replied with error Bad Request (400).

I’ve been trying to use tweet.im since the morning of 2008-12-20 and whenever I’m logged into my gtalk account, I get the error in the title from the .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) contact every 5 minutes and in that whole time I’ve never gotten any of the status updates from those I’m following.  I have, however, been able to update my status just fine.

In this post Mickaël Rémond says:

This is a pure Twitter error: It means that the API was not available to reply.

Does this mean it’s down forever or just for now?  Is anyone else experiencing this?  Remember it’s been going on for two days now.  Any help is appreciated!

It is not down forever. It works fine for us and it seems solve for the other contact.
What if you problem ?

Yup, every five minutes.  I can send updates, so that works just fine.  But I don’t *recieve* updates and I get the 400 error every 5 minutes.

I had gmail up (with chat in it).  So I logged out of gmail, quit and restarted my browser, and left only my jabber client up.  I still get the 400 errors every five minutes and I don’t get any status updates.

I can simply put trace on server to check a more detailed reply on error return by twitter (in this case code 400).
But thank you.
I have am looking at the Twitter trace right now.
