The past few days I have been getting quite a few:

[Twitter Error] Cannot retrieve messages: Twitter replied with error Bad Gateway (502).

and a couple of:

[Twitter Error] Cannot retrieve messages: Twitter replied with error Internal Server Error (500).

and even, once in a while:

[Twitter Error] Cannot retrieve direct messages: Twitter replied with error Bad Gateway (502).

Are the devs aware of this? Thanks!

Ha. Tweet.IM is being sassy; as soon as I submitted the last message I got a:

[Twitter Error] Cannot retrieve messages: Twitter replied with error Service Temporarily Unavailable (503).

You should ask Twitter ;) Tweet.IM is only passing back “Twitter Error” to the user so that he knows.
503: Service temporarily unavailable is the reply for “Twitter is over capacity”.
500: Internal server error means Twitter processing crashed during the request (without no specific error returned).
502: Bad gateway means that Twitter backend is not available at the time of the request.

There is nothing we can do about it. It is not Tweet.IM errors.

Sounds good, everyone already knows that Twitter is a turd!
