504 error is returned by Twitter API and yes, it seems they had some troubles yesterday.

I figured it was twitter, My internets as a whole are kinda screwy so I was just asking. :) thanks for a wonderful service

I have been getting the following error every 5 minutes for the last hour:
[Twitter Error] Cannot retrieve messages: Twitter replied with error Bad Request (400).

I understand this is probably another temporary glitch with Twitter, but why do I, as an end user, need to see this?  There should be a way to turn off these error messages.  If twitter’s down, it’s down.  I don’t need to be constantly notified about it.

My contact has been offline for several hours now, there was a 504 error that disconnected it.

i have another twitter app that seems to be working fine, so it seems its just the twitter.tweet.im thing that’s having problems.

Yes, and the problem is because Twitter is blocking the IP.

Very glad it’s back, though as I said earlier, I hope you’ll consider changing it so that we don’t get notified repeatedly just because something is not working at the moment.
