I just got version 2.0.0 and was trying to get groupchat (muc) support working.  It just gets stuck on “joining chat”, but I do show up in the room (looking via another account using PSI).  Funny thing is that the messages in the chat window are coming in as IM’s, but just showing up as individual messages (and when I reply, they don’t go to the room, just directly to the person).

Any ideas?

When I go to groupchat, then I use muc.appriss.com as the group chat service.  Is that correct?

The nickname is epiphone

Ok, so I figured it out on my own.  Basically, I wasn’t waiting long enough for the roster to fully populate before going into the chat room.  I think there is still a bug here that it is so slow in trying to get our roster (its over 350 people corporate roster).  Not sure if its taking a while on getting pictures, or just the general status updates.

Also, not having them in groups is kind of a pain.  Otherwise, I’m very happy with the groupchat once it gets connected.

With 350 people in roster, getting the roster and the presence can be long on a mobile yes.

Group support in roster will be added soon.
