Hi,

I’m new to OneTeam for iPhone, which I use with jabberd.  I looked for a report of this problem in the forums, but didn’t find it, so:

Whenever I sign into my jabber server with OneTeam, all my contacts who are online show up as ‘Available’, ignoring their true status as reported by the server.  People who are Away are never marked as such.  This can be verified with iChat, as connecting to the server using iChat will always show the proper status.

Is this a known issue?

I’m using a 2.0 build of jabberd.

no this is not a known problem and it seems to work fine for users.
We cannot currently reproduce the problem. If you have a test account showing the problem we can have a look with this account.

To reiterate:

OneTeam does not see contact status changes (away, idle, busy) from the server (jabberd v2, on OS X Server 10.5.7 using SSL).

Well, as of OneTeam for iPhone 3.0, this seems to work as expected.  I get yellow dots for ‘away’ people and green for ‘available’.  Now I usually associate yellow with ‘idle’ and red for ‘away’, but the current functionality works for us.

Maybe this was a known problem (with 2.x) after all?  :-)

Glad it works, but really, we have never seen problem on state of the contact even in 2.x version.
