All day today my oneteam app keeps crashing. It opens, but never loads my server and then crashes. The only thing that i’ve done recently was change my password to my jabber account. I was going to log in to change it in the app but never got the chance. I’ve tried restarting my iphone twice, any ideas?

Hello,

We wil try to reproduce the problem.
One thing you can try to be able to restart the client is disable push, try to login again, then logout and reenable push. This should solve the problem.

By the way, Oneteam 3.0.1 is released. Please let us know if it helps.

Push was never enabled. But I tried enabling it and then disabling and still does not work. The 3.0.1 update didn’t work either. Any other suggestions? Could this be because my password to my jabber was changed and the incorrect password is crashing it?

Thank you for the feedback.
We will try what you suggest to reproduce the problem.

As an interim solution, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the application. It will force account recréation with an empty password.

Before I do that, I won’t have to pay again will I? Or will the itunes store recognize that ive paid for it? Never done that before. Thanks for the help.

Yes, do not worry, it will either be in itunes and you can reinstall on resynchronize, or if you click on buy again on mobile, it will detect you have paid it already (after you type your password) and offer you to download it again for free.

Well, it did work briefly. I closed out of the program and now it won’t open back up. Is there a network timeout on this thing that would cause it to close?

Ive tried the uninstall and reinstalling twice, entered my jabber id and closed it. Tried to reopen and nothing.

No, there is no network timeout. When you call it it is closed, except if you have pushed set up.
We cannot reproduce the problem you have for now.

I’ve isolated the problem. It must be the size of my contact list (which is rather large). I created a new oneteam account for jabber and used that. It loaded up every time. As soon as I logged in on my other jabber account, it started crashing when I loaded the program. There must have been a change in either your software or the iphone 3.0 software that made it not handle the large size of my contact list.

Can I request in your next update that you include a setting not to log you on each time the app starts? Maybe this could at least allow the program to load until you can isolate the problem.

Thank you.

I have a rather large contact list as well (500 contacts).
What is the size of your contact list ?

Over a 125. Maybe it’s not the contact list, maybe it’s the server I’m connecting to. Unfortunately you can’t test that since it’s a government server. I don’t know what to do.

I meant the type of XMPP server (ejabberd, openfire, jabberd, etc).
