Hi, I’m using OneTeam for iPhone as of version 3.2.5 connecting to my private jabber server. Unfortunately each time my phone enters standby (display is being locked) I get disconnected from my server. Any chance to get this fixed at a future version?

There is nothing we can do about it as the iPhone shutdown Wifi when going to standby.
You will have to use one of this solution:
- Use 3G instead of Wifi
- Plug your charger so that it does not go to standby mode.
- Use push module so that you can close your app and receive message notifications.

ah, thanks a lot for the explanation.

a solution that comes to my mind: use bosh if available instead of raw tcp/ip sockets. thus you could easily switch between wifi and 3g.

maybe bosh would be a good choice anyway when it comes to quality and reliability of the connection?

Yes Bosh is on our roadmap, but the effort to write the bosh support in the XMPP library is quite significant so it will take some time.
