I just installed ejabberd215 via your mac intel installer.

On ./ejabberdctl status I get this error:

{error_logger,{{2010,9,6},{15,11,41}},”~s~n”,[“Error in process <0.26.0> on node ‘ejabberd-ctl@localhost’ with exit value: {{badmatch,error},[{code_server,get_user_lib_dirs_1,1},{code_server,init,3}]}\n”]}

Any ideas/tricks on this?

i can not reproduce using OSX 10.5.8

there is more likely something wrong in your environment

it has to be my system, yes, as the installer works on my other 10.6.4 systems (newest Snow Leopard version).

It’s the postinstall script that logs a “child process exited abnormally”. Will dig further.

Not installing in the /Application directory works. Whatever the reason is for that.
