Not able to connect on 3G while it connets properly on wi-fi

Hi ,  Since last updated app is not working and keeps showing connecting message while iam on 3G.  It never connects now.

But if iam on wi-fi app works fine.  There is no point in having this app if it can not work on 3g.

It depends on your phone provider. Some of them block the usual XMPP port.
You might consider changing the port server listen to if this is your own server.

What version are you running?

I bought this app for my iPhone on the go as the freebie Meetbo is not officially supported, Meetbo however works great with 3G so I do not believe it is the port issue with att, can someone please help?

Hi I am already on 4.0.2 (841) which was downloaded upon initial installation, it works fine with wifi but keeps in the connecting loop with 3g, again other IM app works pointing to the same server so I do not think it is an issue on my phone side.  I travel a lot and that’s why I purchased this app. thanks in advance for your help.

Is this possible that your mobile data network provider blocks some ports?

When you say “other IM app works pointing to the same server”, are you using them form the same device to the same server at the same time on the same network conditions?

Can you please provide logs? In Settings > Debug options.
