My favorite feature request is an archive manager:
it should take the shape of a classical e-mail client in three-pane view, showing a list of messages that be sorted and searched like in Thunderbird for example. A chat session should be like a message. The same goes for chatroom sessions.
I guess many people will want Jingle-based file transfers and VoIP (should I say VoIM?), the “V” including voice and video.

Powerfull server-side archiving is something that is on the way

We thought about this part: It will require that you install a Firefox plugin to work, but it is doable
I would echo Nÿco’s request for message archiving and file transfer. Those are things we use daily.
Message archiving will be first. File transfert is available already in the standalone version, but will require a plugin probably to work in full remote browser mode.

Great work! This inspires me to look at XUL more closely for our next project.
Privacy lists: Good Idea.
We are working on an extended version of the privacy list support on the server to increase the privacy lists capabilities from the client.
what about “message styles for chat windows”(like Adium message styles)? Not that it is an important thing for me nor that I would give it a high priority to implement but I think that it may be a nice feature to add.
Styling is on the roadmap but probably in a more distant future. That’s nice to add, but we feel that we need to add polish to have a robust and rich client, before adding that.
By the way, I am now using only OneTeam as my XMPP client and I feel it is now working very well. Next step is probably polishing before opening the public beta, even if there is still room for new features.
