ProcessOne is involved in the next Open Source event in Paris: Linux Solutions 2007.
The event will take place on 30 - 31 january and 1st february 2007 at the CNIT, Paris la Défense, France.

The success of Firefox and Thunderbird today go without saying. But these are not the only success stories of the Mozilla project. It is little known that a large number of businesses have been using the Mozilla platform in order to quickly develop their Web applications as well as Desktop. These professional applications, used for production, have both the advantages specific to each web application and the functional richness of this platform. The objective of this round table is to examine in a factual manner the potential of the Mozilla platform through the success stories of several business and to encourage open discussion with the speakers.
Mickaël Rémond will be presenting ProcessOne achievements on the Mozilla / XUL framework.

This conference is in two parts. The first part is about:
The stakes concerning instant and voice messenger on IP protocols, their cohabitation and their possible convergences, illustrated by case studies.
The second part is about:
Instant messaging: the tools and techniques presented by experts in the field.
Mickaël Rémond is chairman of this session. As a member of the board of directors of the XMPP Standards Foundation (former Jabber Software Foundation), he will present the XMPP standard, the role of the XMPP Standards Foundation and describes some real life, large scale, deployments and applications.
Jérôme Sautret will talk about "ejabberd, architecture and implementation of a high performance instant messenger". This conference will present the basic characteristics of the ejabberd instant messaging server and propose various examples of implementation in different architecture and information systems.
Thursday 01 February 2007 (2:30 pm to 6:00 pm)
Web 2.0 has been raising the developers’ interest worldwide for a year now. A marketing phenomenon, web 2.0 notably marks the tipping point from Web oriented publications to web oriented applications. It offers a real ergonomic interest for the user. This conference will cover several little known aspects of Web 2.0 and present the implications for operational teams and developers.
