Its main features are:
- No deployment for easy administration on large organisations, but available as a standalone client
- Rich ergonomy, like desktop client
- Full-featured Instant Messaging client, using the XMPP standard protocol, supported, presence, chat, avatar, groupchat, ...
- Focus on rich presence and productivity-oriented features to limit and control user's interruptions
- Developed in XUL / Javascript for extensibility: Plugin developers will be able to extend the feature like Firefox
- Multiplatform: Works on Windows, Linux and MacOSX
Roadmap
- jan 2007: Private Beta test launched
- may 2007: Open Beta test launched: Large availability of the web version as a technology demonstration
- july 2007: Standalone version
