Our partnership programme adds value for customers

The ProcessOne strategic partnership programme adds a great deal of value for our customers. Read what they have to say below.

Meetic operates one of the largest online dating services in the world, with the fastest growing network. It uses ejabberd to support high volumes of instant messages between individuals seeking to arrange dates. The company has contributed several important pieces of code, including a plug-in-based publish and subscribe system that increases performance and an improved XMPP parsing library, replacing Jabberlang.

Miguel Gomard, director of labs at Meetic, says:

“ejabberd has become a very important technology for Meetic. We have worked with ProcessOne to develop a number of enhancements to the ejabberd server, and our participation in ProcessOne’s partnership programme is a good way to make sure that these improvements are merged with core ejabberd technology.”

SAPO is a leading European ISP, owned by Portugal Telecom. It has published several significant ejabberd developments, including an enhanced multi-user chat, with anti-abuse features and a series of tools to support migration to ejabberd.

Celso Martinho, CTO of SAPO, says:

“SAPO has a strong open-source culture. Using open-source software enables us to be innovative, flexible and reactive in a global market where the absence of these qualities can seriously hurt your business. Our partnership with ProcessOne gives us the ability to share our product extensions with the worldwide ejabberd community and also benefit from the investment that other companies have made in developing ejabberd.”
