# More social networks turn to ejabberd XMPP application server

[SimplifyMedia](https://www.simplifymedia.com/?ref=process-one.net) is a social network for music sharing. They switched to [ejabberd](https://www.process-one.net/en/ejabberd/) during the summer, as [posted on their blog](https://www.simplifymedia.com/blog/?p=49&ref=process-one.net).

[Notifixious](https://notifixio.us/?ref=process-one.net) made the same switch to ejabberd during the week end, as [explained on their blog](https://blog.notifixio.us/post/56167273/switch-from-openfire-to-ejabberd-done?ref=process-one.net).

You are welcome in our community. Thank you for your confidence ! This is for us a good incentive to keep going the current work to turn ejabberd into an XMPP application server. This is one of the most acclaimed features for social networks.
