- Description: Erlang is currently progressing as a tool for Web development. SlideAware is now developed with Erlang, Yaws and Mnesia.
- Author: Mickaël Rémond

As explained on [SlideAware blog](https://slideaware.typepad.com/slideaware/?ref=process-one.net), the new version of their presentation management platform is now developed in Erlang: [From Python To Ruby on Rail to Erlang](https://slideaware.typepad.com/slideaware/2007/04/from%5Fpython%5Fto%5F.html?ref=process-one.net).

It will be interesting to see what are there feedback to improve Erlang-based web development when you need scalability.

If you wonder why scalability is a must for the Web 2.0, you can read my previous post: [Web 2.0: Shifting from “Get Fast” to “Get Massive”](https://www.process-one.net/blog/web%5F20%5Fshifting%5Ffrom%5Fget%5Ffast%5Fto%5Fget%5Fmassive/)
