# XMPP Summit in San Jose, California

The [XMPP](https://xmpp.org/summit/summit7.shtml?ref=process-one.net) summit is an international gathering of XMPP solution developers. We will take the opportunity to talk face to face about the future of the XMPP protocol.

I will also take the opportunity to attend to the [Google Wave Federation](https://docs.google.com/View?id=dg3q7jr6%5F32c2gcx5dt&ref=process-one.net) day to share opinion with Google team about the Wave XMPP extension.
