In trying to shorten our chat URL and make it identical to our email addresses, I set up the SRV records for Jabber:
Now it seems that when I use our domain nnnn.com instead of chat.nnnn.com, our permanent chatrooms do not appear under Group Chat -> ‘+’ -> ‘Available Services’ like they did before.
The only thing that is there now is ‘Enter manually’. I would assume this is a dns or SRV record problem if my PC-based chat clients did not pick it up just fine.
This is not a huge problem but, it would be nice to understand whether this is a bug in OneTeam or a mistake in my DNS… I’d appreciate any advice, thanks!
