Downtime?

Hello,

I’ve been experiencing connectivity issues with my hosted.IM account since yesterday. It’s also impossible to login to my account via the web interface. Is this a general issue or does it affect only me?

Same issue here, not just you.  Pidgin can’t connect and can’t login to account at website here.  I feel better now.  I thought my account was terminated or something, made me sad =(

I have this same proble since yesterday about 19:00 (GMT+1). I think it’s a genreal issue but ProcessOne still don’t answer (I wrote 3 mails).

I just received this from support

Hello,
We indeed had hardware issue, but they should be fixed now. We will keep on
monitoring the server very closely for the next few hours to make sure it does
not happen again.

All seems to be working now :)

** I had to restart my client (Pidgin) to be able to connect **

Just received this:

Hello,
We found the root of the problem was a massive attack against the service. It
just cause more trouble in the last hours.
We have take measure to block relevant domains and IP address. The service
should be up and working again. We will keep monitoring the service to see how
the attack evolves.
Thank you for your feedback and sorry again for the trouble.

Service working again.  I wonder why someone would target an IM service???  Especially a generous one like Hosted.im.
