We are pleased to announce the publication of ejabberd 26.09, which includes several security fixes, some improvements and other minor bugfixes. It is strongly encouraged that you update ejabberd as soon as possible.

Verify your download
The checksums file lists the SHA-256 of each package. Run this in the folder where you downloaded yours:
sha256sum -c --ignore-missing ejabberd-*-checksums.txt
The signatures archive has one .asc file per package and per source archive. Import the ProcessOne key once, then check your file:
gpg --keyserver hkps://keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 31468D18DF9841242B90D7328ECA469419C09311
tar xzf ejabberd-*-signatures.tgz
gpg --verify <file>.asc <file>
