Facebook chat team gets Erlang User of the Year award

Chris Piro and Eugene Letuchy get Erlang User of the Year 2009 award at Erlang User Conference in Stockholm at a testimonial to the value of their achievement for the Erlang community.

We have mentioned the Facebook chat system by revealing their use of ejabberd as an XMPP interface.

Alexey Shchepin and me from ProcessOne had already been elected “erlang user of the year”, respectively in 2006 and 2004.

Congratulations to Chris Piro and Eugene Letuchy!
