Erlang is currently progressing as a tool for Web development. SlideAware is now developed with Erlang, Yaws and Mnesia.
As explained on SlideAware blog, the new version of their presentation management platform is now developed in Erlang: From Python To Ruby on Rail to Erlang.
It will be interesting to see what are there feedback to improve Erlang-based web development when you need scalability.
